Liz (she/they) arrived in Sitka on a seaplane in April of 2016 and never left. From kayaking to hiking, foraging and working in natural resources, the waters and woods around Sitka have become familiar and remain endlessly fascinating. Liz is a passionate learner and is currently finishing a Biological Sciences degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. When not studying or crafting, Liz can be found digging in the mud, making friends with fungi, and eyeing a nice gravel pile. Liz joined Sitka Trail Works in May 2025.
